so yeah it’s me Bryan Kaplun (BK), I’m a photographer based out of Houston.

why do I love photography?

good question, thanks for asking.

I love photography because of how quickly a photograph can tell a story. the saying is “a picture’s worth a thousand words” and I think that is spot on. I also love that those thousand words can be understood regardless of language.

no matter your reason for a photo, the goal is always approached in the same way. I try to capture authenticity. a session is us hanging out, talking about nothing and everything, and me taking photos. my job is to help bring to surface what makes you unique.

in addition to photography I am also an actor. as you can see from the photos above, I’ve had a few different looks throughout the years, so I know how vital a photo must be.
